Fredz is a Canadian singer-songwriter with a distinctive identity — his bowl cut and round glasses have become something of a trademark. His music sits at the crossroads of rap, pop and French chanson, turning intimate personal moments into universal stories delivered with sincere lyricism and deeply felt performance.
Independent by choice and fully in control of his own project, Fredz pursues a long-term creative vision built on artistic freedom, authenticity and human connection. He favours songs built to last rather than to chase trends, patiently constructing a body of work that is enduring and genuinely personal.
Opening the evening is Hipo, a French artist based in Paris who blends rap with melodic songwriting. Having supported acts at venues such as La Cigale and La Maroquinerie and appeared at festivals including the Demi-Festival and Mama Festival, Hipo spent the summer of 2025 touring France and Canada as DJ and backing musician for Carbonne across around thirty dates.
Now four EPs into his career, Hipo enters a new musical chapter in 2026 with a more melodic, pop and sun-drenched direction while keeping the energy and aesthetic of rap. His recent singles "Couleurs" and "Minuit" offer a first glimpse of this evolving sound.
The concert takes place in the Grande salle (standing) at Victoire 2, Montpellier. Tickets are available via the Victoire 2 box office.
