Lady Chatterley is a narrative ballet by British choreographer Cathy Marston, inspired by D. H. Lawrence's novel that was long censored. The story is set in post-World War I England, where Constance Chatterley feels suffocated in a marriage without physical intimacy.
Her encounter with the gamekeeper Mellors opens up an intense and unlikely relationship that defies convention. Through intimate and sensitive dance, the work explores the body's impulses, the longing for freedom and the reclaiming of desire.
Performances run April 22 to 25, 2027, at 8 p.m. at Théâtre Maisonneuve, Place des Arts, as part of the 2026-2027 Season.
