Lívia Mattos brings her power trio to ALICE, combining accordion, tuba and drums in an unusual and playful instrumentation.
Her music is rooted in Brazilian rhythms such as forró and samba, mixed with modern and experimental ideas. The accordion serves as both a rhythmic engine and a melodic voice.
The repertoire draws on her latest album Verve (2025) and earlier releases Vinha da Ida (2017) and Apneia (2022). Her circus-arts background adds a theatrical, physical dimension to the show.
