Thulcandra, Yoth Iria and Vorga share the bill on the evening of 17 March 2027 at Spillestedet Stengade, on the stage called 18 Stengade. The night is billed as three different approaches to black metal.
Thulcandra are a German band led by founder Steffen Kummerer, also known from Obscura. They play melodic blackened death metal inspired by the mid-90s and have been active since their 2010 debut album Fallen Angel's Dominion. Their fifth album is Hail the Abyss, released via Napalm Records in 2023 with a mix by Dan Swanö.
Yoth Iria are special guests. The Greek band was formed by Jim Mutilator, founding bassist of Rotting Christ and Varathron. They carry on the Hellenic black metal tradition and have released the albums As the Flame Withers (2021) and Blazing Inferno (2024). They have played festivals such as Hellfest, Summer Breeze and Party San.
Vorga are in support. This multinational band, active since 2016 and signed to Transcending Obscurity Records, play futuristic, melodic black metal. Their albums are Striving Toward Oblivion (2022) and Beyond the Palest Star (2024). Their shows use UV corpsepaint and a atmospheric light show.
