Halle Tropisme in Montpellier hosts this introductory intaglio printmaking workshop as part of its Crafty Tuesday series. It is a friendly, laid-back session that you can enjoy with a drink in hand.
The workshop is open to everyone, and no drawing skills are required. Participants learn the basics of this old manual printing technique, engrave their own plate, print it on paper and leave with the finished piece.
The session is led by Vale (Valérie Salerno), a visual artist and graphic designer trained at the Accademia delle Belle Arti in Bologna, who now runs her own studio in Montpellier.
