Ciné-club : Nö presents the 2021 German film directed by Dietrich Brüggemann, running 119 minutes and screened with French subtitles (VOSTFR). The cast includes Anna Brüggemann, Alexander Khuon, and Hanns Zischler.
The film chronicles seven years of a couple's shared life through 15 standalone chapters, ranging from the comic to the tragic — from the creeping installation of daily routine to joyful moments after a birth, from passionate interludes to the corrosive thoughts of separation.
The inner lives of Dina and Michael, two thirtysomething city-dwellers, are continually opened up to the surreal and to dark humour, making for a portrait of modern couplehood that is both intimate and offbeat.
The screening is presented with the support of the film archives of the Goethe-Institut France. It takes place on Wednesday 28 October 2026 at 18:30 at the Maison de Heidelberg, 4 rue des Trésoriers de la Bourse, Montpellier.
