The production places the audience in an Indigenous residential school classroom. Spectators are invited to put on blindfolds while clergy and classmates move around them, so that the child within each viewer comes to the surface.
The piece asks what might emerge from this troubled and relatively recent period, and whether losing sight could reduce the distance between people. It also considers how audiences might look further ahead at relations between First Nations and non-Indigenous people.
It is performed in the Salle Fred-Barry at Théâtre Denise-Pelletier, daily at 19:00, as part of Festival Voix Mortes 2026.
