Dumbell Collective returns to Halle Tropisme one year on, this time bringing their newest member Platine into the fold. The night promises the same eclecticism, fun and bass-heavy energy the collective is known for, with sets from B(ee)R, Platine and Draghon.
The collective's signature approach spans 120 to 180 BPM, moving fluidly between house, UK garage, juke, ghetto tech, trance, techno, electro, jungle and drum & bass. Each set builds in a crescendo structure — no fixed format, just the groove of the night dictating the direction.
Dumbell Collective was born from friendship and a shared musical vision. Among their notable achievements: a monthly night called BeeRave at bar Couleurs de Bières, a residency at the iconic Rockstore Montpellier drawing around 400 people per event, and guest invitations to artists including Xandy, Keyo, Shfoosja, Don Yaya, Kwazar and Servye.
They also provided warm-up and after-party sets for Vladimir Cauchemar at the Rockstore — a sold-out night of 800 people with a cumulative 8h30 of sets.
