fodie j. takes over the café at Halle Tropisme for an edition of Mercredizm, the venue's Wednesday DJ series. Originally from the Czech Republic, he spent 13 years in Berlin before settling in Montpellier, and his selections reflect that transatlantic and European journey.
His set moves through bruk, house and bass, drawing on the club cultures of Berlin, Detroit and Chicago while weaving in rhythmic and sonic elements drawn from jazz and African music traditions.
