Marie Nadeau-Tremblay (violin), Tristan Best (viola da gamba), and Kerry Bursey (lute and vocals) come together for an intimate Baroque strings recital at Off-Festival Bach in Montreal as part of Festival Bach 2026.

Vocal pieces feature prominently: Michel Lambert's Ma bergère est tendre et fidèle, two anonymous settings (Une jeune fillette, arranged by Marie Nadeau-Tremblay, and Greensleeves), Christophe Ballard's J'avois cru qu'en vous aymant, and Honoré d'Ambruis's Le doux silence de nos bois.
The programme also includes François Francoeur's five-movement Sonate pour violon en sol mineur (op. 2, n° 6), Michel Farinel's La Folia, Marc-Antoine Charpentier's Tristes déserts, sombre retraite (H 469), and concludes with Jacques Morel's Chaconne en trio.
