To mark its 30th anniversary in autumn 2026, VEGA is opening its doors for a series of guided tours through the functionalist building. Vilhelm Lauritzen designed it, and it opened in 1956.
The tour is led by VEGA historian Nikolaj Muldkjær. It covers the history of the house, from its origins as a home for the labour movement to its role as Denmark's largest rhythmic music venue. Guests also get an insight into concert productions, how musicians prepare before going on stage, and stories from VEGA's first 30 years as a live music venue.
The tour starts at 17:30 in front of the Store VEGA entrance and takes about two hours. It ends with a beer or water, which is included in the ticket price.
