Hundeliv (Dog Life) is a musical and physical theater work exploring the brutality of loneliness. It tells the story of a girl growing up in a violent home where her only companion is the family dog.
The production draws on the sounds of the animal and the violence, weaving closeness and isolation through a girl soprano voice and the dynamic pulse of music.
Uniquely, the performance takes place in private homes in Frederiksberg. Audiences are welcomed with coffee in cosy surroundings — until the mood shifts.
The production is categorised as guest performance and music theater (gæstespil / musikteater).
