Juveler (Jewels) is staged at Gamle Scene and choreographed by George Balanchine, co-founder of the legendary New York City Ballet. The production invites audiences into a glittering world of dance and precious stones while tracing the arc of ballet history.

Balanchine, a Russian-American dancer and choreographer, created some of the most beloved ballets in history and developed a uniquely distinctive movement language and style that has circled the globe for nearly a century, inspiring beginners and connoisseurs alike in theatres around the world.
