Lydbad is a live sound bath held at Nørrebro Teater in Copenhagen, Denmark. Sound designer and facilitator Cecilie Dahlin leads each session, which uses crystal singing bowls, tuning forks and other overtone instruments to fill the room with sound. It is a listening experience rather than a performance you watch from a distance, so the visit suits anyone curious about slow, immersive sound.
What to expect
- Sessions run from October 2026 to March 2027, starting at 8:00.
- The sessions are held in Danish.
- Guests are advised to bring a warm blanket or scarf.
- The foyer stays open after the session, where you can have coffee or tea.
The area
Nørrebro Teater sits in Nørrebro, one of Copenhagen's inner neighbourhoods, so a session can easily be part of a wider day in the city. Arriving a little early or staying on in the foyer afterwards gives you time to settle in before or after the sound.
