Angels in the Snow is a Christmas fairy tale staged as a theatre performance in Copenhagen, Denmark. It is presented at Folketeatret, on the Kvisten stage, from 27 November to 20 December.
The story
The production follows two sisters, Maja and Babette. Their mother is about to give birth, and the girls set out into the snowy night to find help. Along the way they lose their bearings in the dark and find themselves in an unfamiliar, magical world beneath a starry sky. Their task becomes a race to get back in time.
The show is built around the idea of a Christmas bauble full of surprises and secrets, which gives the tale its sense of wonder and its twists.

Planning your visit
Folketeatret is a theatre in the centre of Copenhagen, so the performance can be combined with a walk or a meal in the city during the Christmas season. Because the run is limited to the weeks between late November and 20 December, it is worth checking dates and booking details on the production's page before you travel.
