Artillery formed in Taastrup in 1982 and are among Denmark's most prominent thrash metal bands. Their early demos brought them international attention, and their debut album 'Fear of Tomorrow' was followed by 'Terror Squad'.
The band split temporarily after 'By Inheritance' in 1990 and re-formed in the late 1990s. They have since released several well-reviewed albums and toured worldwide, keeping an aggressive, technical style that mixes fast riffs with melodic touches.
