Fyraftenssang 2026-27 is a community singing series held at Nørrebro Teater, a theatre in the Nørrebro district of Copenhagen, Denmark. It is open to everyone, whatever their level of singing or experience, so it suits both confident singers and people who simply enjoy joining in.
What the sessions are like
The series is led by pianist Mads Strandgaard and conductor Jakob Høgsbro. Each session has its own new theme, and a guest musician performs original songs of their own, giving every gathering a different character. Because the sessions run through the season, you can return to see how the themes and guests change.
- Runs from August 2026 to June 2027
- Open to all levels of experience
- A new theme and guest musician for each session
- Held in Danish, with some songs in English
Planning your visit
Nørrebro Teater is at Ravnsborggade 3, in a lively neighbourhood known for its cafés, shops and street life, so there is plenty to enjoy before or after a session. The language of the sessions is Danish, though the English-language songs mean non-Danish speakers can still take part in parts of the evening. For dates, tickets and the latest details, check the official listing on the Nørrebro Teater website.
