This immersive symphonic concert brings together music, light, and projected imagery to honour the legacies of two titans of film composition: Ennio Morricone and Nino Rota. The programme draws on iconic scores from directors including Sergio Leone (The Good, the Bad and the Ugly; Once Upon a Time in the West), Francis Ford Coppola (The Godfather), and Federico Fellini (La Strada).
At the podium is Marcello Rota, an internationally acclaimed conductor. Joining him are three soloists with deep personal ties to Morricone's music: Nello Salza (trumpet), Ludovico Fulci (piano), and Susanna Rigacci (soprano), each having collaborated with Morricone for over 30 years and performed in more than 500 concerts worldwide.
The concert takes place at Zenith Sud, Montpellier, on 12 January at 20:00. Tickets are available via Fnac Spectacles.
