Magie Noire's November residency, the fifth in the series, brings a long night of electronic music to Café Tropisme in Montpellier on Saturday 21 November. The evening is shared between guest Bousti, who comes from Paris and is linked to the Méchante Recording label, and Dask, the residency's own resident.
The night
The programme runs for about seven hours, which makes this a set for settling in rather than a short stop. The room is built around a TSI soundsystem and an immersive stage setup, so the sound and the space are meant to be experienced together.
Before you go
- Tickets are time-based. Once the time printed on your ticket has passed, the next rate applies at the door, so check your slot before you set off.
- Free places need booking. They must be reserved in advance on Shotgun. Without a free ticket there is no free entry, including before 18:00.
- Full details are listed on the Tropisme agenda page for this residency.
The venue
The night takes place at Café Tropisme, part of the Ateliers Tropisme in Montpellier, in the Occitanie region of southern France. It suits anyone who wants a long, focused evening of music in the city, and the setting makes it easy to plan a day around it.
