This House brings together musicians from the European underground scene. The project grew out of a collaboration between G.W. Sok, co-founder and voice of the Dutch post-punk band The Ex, and Copenhagen-based producer and musician Ignacio Córdoba. After the 2024 album 'Is This A House', it developed into a full band with drummer Søren Høi and synthesizer player Laust Moltesen.
The music pairs Sok's poetic lyrics with Córdoba's electronic world, moving between rock, electronics and experimental soundscapes. Hypnotic rhythms, angular guitar figures, dense electronic textures and polyrhythmic drumming create an intense, shifting sound in which songs constantly balance between structure and dissolution.
The band released its debut album 'Soft Rains Will Come' on 20 March 2026. At Beta, the concert blends song, poetry, noise, rhythm and improvisation into an ever-moving soundscape.
