Kalaset has, in just a few years, grown into one of the most notable bands on the Danish music scene. Their album 'Poker' was named best Danish album of the year by GAFFA, and they have played a series of sold-out shows.
Their music moves between the immediate and the reflective. Danish-language lyrics about youth, restlessness, relationships and longing meet synth-driven arrangements and strong melodies. Live, big communal moments sit alongside quieter passages.
At Amager Bio, expect songs from 'Poker' alongside favourites from the back catalogue, in the venue's wide concert room. In 2024 the band played to more than 10,000 people on tour, and the following year brought festival appearances, strong reviews and two sold-out concerts at Falkonersalen.
